Explore Our Approach to Mental Health

Bluebird Awards is dedicated to enabling a wide range of opportunities for at-risk children and youth, so they can explore their interests and talents. We take pride in meeting their needs by offering them the chance to engage in various sports and learning activities of their choice. We intend to head off mental health issues by pro-active prevention by implementation of a program designed to prevent negative outcomes before they occur. Our aim is plan, organize and control a system designed to anticipate undesirable events and create positive results.

1

A child's guidance counselor or educator recognizes a mental health need and takes steps to help a child or teen find help.

The Sponsor or Caregiver discusses the child's issues and situation with a therapist and submits a Letter of Recommendation to Bluebird Awards.
