"The H.F. Barrows Company was founded in 1854 in Attleborough Falls by Henry Francis Barrows, Sr. The firm passed to his sons Henry, Jr. and Ira, who had this building erected in 1905-06. The firm was widely known for its gold chains, but it successfully diversified when watches with chains fell out of fashion after World War I. "
"The H.F. Barrows Manufacturing Company Building, now the North Attleborough Police Station, is a historic industrial building at 102 South Washington Street in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. The elegant brick building was built in 1905-06, and was home for many years to one of the town's most successful jewelry businesses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Today the building serves as the headquarters for the North Attleborough Police Department."
In researching the HFB mark this piece was probably made after the company diversified from gold jewelry after WW1.
This STERLING is marked HFB Sterling per the close up picture.  This sterling bangle bracelet has a slider that is used to put it on or take it off, which is so convenient. This one has a rounded surface and is 1/5" tall and with a 2-3/8" inside diameter (so is meant for a slightly smaller wrist). It has one lovely embossed panel with a floral design with the inside the wrist being a brushed sterling silver.. The slider is marked "Sterling" and "H.F.B," which is the mark for HF Barrows.
CONDITION is excellent.
